City Technology introduces children to the basics of design technology through curriculum materials, teacher resources, and professional development. Students build mechanical and/or electrical models using everyday materials as per the lessons and are then encouraged to discover what's possible for themselves.

Teachers can now learn the new materials through a combination of inspirational and explanatory videos, images and text, simply describe how the models are constructed, and can be used as a reference when they need help.
 
Authors of the site are able to easily add content be it video, copy or images. The site is structured with a lesson for each week of the 12-week semester programs. Common course materials are added as sub-lessons which can be cross-referenced from any lesson on the site.
